Thank you to all those who helped make our 11th Annual Brushton Fun to Run a success!

A special thank you to Brushton Moira Dollars For Scholars for helping to facilitate the event in a number of ways, Our Sponsors who make it possible to put on our event, The Franklin County Sheriffs Department and the Brushton Volunteer Fire Police for ensuring safety on the road, and to the participants who have helped raise this money and ensure a fun and successful event.

A special thank you to the Palmer and Russell families who support our event and allow us to keep the memory of William Palmer close to our hearts. We miss him.

Join us for our 11th Annual Brushton Fun To Run

When -Saturday, August 10th at 9am

Where- Brushton- Moira Central School

What- We will once again offer a 1 mile walk, 5k/10k Run

Why- 100% of the profits will be split evenly between the B.M.C XC Teams and The Bushton- Moira Dollars for Scholars Organization.

For the third year in a row the half raised for Dollars For Scholars will be donated to the organization but will be donated to the William Palmer Memorial Scholarship in loving memory of William. The joy he always shared will continue to be the heart of our team. We miss him.

Brushton Fun to Run celebrates 10 yearsBRUSHTON – The 10th annual Brushton Fun to Run fundraiser was held on Saturday, August 12 at Brushton-Moira Central School, and saw another successful event with over 80 participants.

Brushton’s ninth annual Fun To Run event raises $2,000, half of proceeds to be donated to Palmer Memorial Scholarship— 5k run —

Event Details

Pre Registration (Now- August 8th)

Pre Registration Cost- 1 mile walk - $20

Pre Registration 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run - $25

Pre Registration Any Event Students - $15

Same Day Registration is Available at the Brushton- Moira Central School starting at 8:00am on Race Day. Same Day Registration cost will increase $5 for each event.

*All Pre Registrants are guaranteed a T-Shirt. Same day Registrants will receive a shirt as supplies last. Medals will be awarded to 5k and 10k participants to the top 3 in each age category. There will also be post race refreshments available compliments of our Sponsors.

Our 5k/10k runs are a mix of well maintained trail running and road running.
